The refrigeration system is mounted on the bottom, which is in the coolest area of the kitchen. To help keep the condensing coil clean throughout operation, this unit's compressor fan motor helps remove collection of dust and dirt on the coil. When it's turned on, it blows in an opposite direction for 20 seconds, ridding the coil of buildup and enabling it to work properly over time.
